Ecosphere constituye la primera de una trilogía dedicada a la temática Worldbuilding bajo la curadoría de Clive Kellner con el apoyo de Bárbara Rousseaux en Joburg Contemporary Art Foundation, Johannesburg, Sudáfrica.
La muestra explora la manera en que los seres humanos construyen mundos a partir de la tradición artística, el condicionamiento social, la racionalidad científica y la búsqueda de supervivencia. La exposición reunió instalaciones inmersivas que abarcaron desde plantas hidropónicas y textiles inspirados en lo oceánico, hasta fotografía botánica, piezas sonoras y pinturas meditativas de aves migratorias.
El proyecto contó además con la apertura de la Reading Room, un espacio diseñado por Wolff Architects para albergar un único volumen: The Ecospheres Reader, concebido como lugar de encuentro y discusión para diferentes charlas e invitados.
Ortiz de Zevallos exhibió Khipuy, como parte de Mater Iniciativa y en colaboración con Isabella Celis, integró el elenco de artistas internacionales convocados para Ecospheres. La exposición reunió a creadoras y creadores de trayectoria diversa, entre los que destacan:

Ecosphere is the first in a trilogy dedicated to the theme of Worldbuilding, curated by Clive Kellner with the support of Bárbara Rousseaux at the Joburg Contemporary Art Foundation (JCAF) in Johannesburg, South Africa. The exhibition explores the ways in which human beings construct worlds through artistic tradition, social conditioning, scientific rationality, and the quest for survival. It brought together immersive installations ranging from hydroponic plants and ocean-inspired textiles to botanical photography, sound pieces, and meditative paintings of migratory birds. The project also included the opening of the Reading Room, a space designed by Wolff Architects to house a single volume: The Ecospheres Reader, conceived as a meeting place for dialogue and discussion with various talks and guests. Ortiz de Zevallos exhibited Khipuy as part of Mater Iniciativa and in collaboration with Isabella Celis, joining an international roster of artists invited to participate in Ecospheres.
